What is the best way to shop at the Soaper's Choice Web Store?

It depends, there are several ways to navigate through our store. The easiest way to find items is to click on one of the category buttons on the left hand border of each page. These buttons will either take you to a listing of items or a page with subcategories to choose from.

What if I need a more detailed search?

Another method of finding items is to search for keywords in a category. On the left hand border of each page is a search button. Below this button is a category selection box and an input box for keywords. Select the category of interest from the selection box, type your keywords in the input box and then hit the "Go" button. The store will then display items which matched your search criteria.

For example, the search criteria below will display any words which have the keyword equal to "oil". Click "Go" for the results! For an even more detailed search, click on the search button to be transferred to a Detailed Search Page.

What is a shopping cart?

An electronic shopping cart (or shopping cart) is a temporary place to store items you are considering buying. When you see any item you would like to purchase, press the "Add Item to my Cart" button. This places the item in your shopping cart. Later, you can edit quantities of items in your cart, delete items from your cart and proceed to checkout.

Are credit card transactions on the Soaper's Choice Web Store safe?

Absolutely! In fact, it's statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store. How will I know if my checkout page (order form) is secure?

All information you enter on your checkout page, including credit card information, is encrypted while traveling the internet so it cannot be intercepted by a third party! You can verify that a page is secure by the following two methods.

• First, you should see the prefix "https://" in the URL of your browser's address window.
• Second, if you are using Netscape Navigator you will see the "complete key" in the lower left hand corner of your browser. If you are using MS Internet Explorer, then you will see a "lock" in the lower right hand corner of the browser screen.

Absolutely Not! We realize that not everyone understands this technology, therefor our order form does not require you to fill out the credit card section. If you would prefer to give us your credit card information over the phone, please submit your order online and then call us toll free at (800) 322-6457, during our regular business hours, to give us your credit card information.

Can people outside the United States order from the Soaper's Choice Web Store?

Currently, the Soaper's Choice Web Store is not accepting online orders from outside the United States. Soaper's Choice works internationally with bulk non-Soaper's Choice customers. International phone orders can be placed by calling (847) 257-8930 or by FAX at (847)257-8870 .

What are the charges for Shipping and Handling?

Shipping services for the Soaper's Choice Web Store are supplied by UPS (United Parcel Service), the Internet Leader in E-commerce Shipping Solutions. Shipping charges are calculated on an individual unit basis using the UPS rates and services calculator. Your shipping cost is based on your orders total package weight, number of packages, and your shipping address. Soaper's Choice retains the right to notify you via E-mail or phone of a change in your shipping cost prior to shipping. ALL CUSTOMER PICK-UPS MUST BE PLACED 24 HOURS PRIOR TO PICKING UP.
