Grapeseed Oil is obtained from the seed of the grape (Vitis Vinifera).  The dried grape seeds are expeller pressed to extract the crude oil, and then refined.  This product is made in Mediterranean countries with a large volume of seeds from wine and raisin production and is favored for use in many diets due to its high level of unsaturation, specifically linoleic acid.  It is considered Vegan, Lactose Free, Gluten Free, Glutamate Free, BSE Free, No Hydrogenated or Partially Hydrogenated Oils, No Preservatives.
