SHEA BUTTER ORGANIC REFINED

Organic Shea Butter is expeller pressed from the kernel of the shea tree (Butyrospemem Parkii).  It is Refined, Bleached and Deodorized without the use of any chemicals.  The kernels resemble horse chestnuts and contain 45-48% fat, 10% protein and 25-30% carbohydrates. Up to 75% of the unsaponifiables consist of terpenic alcohols almost exclusively found in cinnamic acid esters explaining the healing properties and the fact that it is well tolerated by the skin.  It is considered Lactose Free, Gluten Free, Glutamate Free and BSE Free.  The product does not come in contact with any products derived from animals, milk or grape sources.
