Sodium Lactate is the sodium salt of natural L (+) lactic acid made by the fermentation of sugar.  I has a mild taste, antimicrobial properties and is pH neutral. This product is widely used as a natural preservative in many applications. Best if used within 24 months of the manufacture date.
