WHERE CAN I FIND SAP VALUES?
The SAP values are listed in two places.
First, each product has the SAP Value listed under its Specification section.
Second, all SAP Values are listed in an easy to reference chart.
DO YOU OFFER SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL?
Yes! We have always strived to be intentional in our sourcing of palm oil and its impact on our environment.
Both our conventional and organic palm oils are certified by the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO).
HOW DO I REMOVE HARD OILS FROM THE 7-POUND BOTTLES?
To remove hard oil from the 7-pound bottle, simply place it in a hot water bath, pour into the container of your choice and repeat as necessary.
WHAT DOES "COSMETIC GRADE" MEAN?
The term "cosmetic grade" means that the item is a blend. These blends are carefully formulated to produce the same fatty acid profile, INS, HLB and SAP values. The cosmetic blends perform identically to the food grade versions of the oil in any cosmetic application. These blends are made from high quality, expeller-pressed refined oils. They are considered non-allergenic since refined oils contain no protein. Soaper's Choice has offered these cosmetic blends for many years with positive results for our customers.
DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM BLENDING?
Yes! Our customers have found that our custom blending services save them time, energy and space, while reducing wasted raw material inventory. We are happy to custom blend based on your specific formulation. Custom blends require a minimum batch and order size of four 55-gallon drums. All drums ship on a pallet via an LTL carrier.
DO YOU OFFER ITEMS IN BULK?
Yes! Most items are available in bulk pack sizes including 55 gallon drums or 275 gallon totes (depending on availability). All drums and totes ship on a pallet via an LTL carrier. Check out our pack sizes.
DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL STORE WHERE I CAN VIEW THEPRODUCTS?
No, we do not have a physical location where you can view our products. Our warehouse is open for customer pick up of prepaid orders only. You can view our product list.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO FULFILL MY ORDER?
We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround! Orders placed Monday through Friday by 12 p.m. CST generally ship the next day. Once your order ships, tracking information will be emailed.
DO YOU OFFER A CUSTOMER PICK UP OPTION?
Yes! When placing your order, choose "Customer Pick Up" as your shipment method. Pick up is free and no appointment is necessary, but you will need your sales order number. Pick up hours are M-F, 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST. The address is 1701 Winthrop Drive, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
HOW CAN I SAVE MONEY ON MY ORDER'S SHIPPING COST?
- When ordering 7-pound jugs, order in multiples of 4 or 6 items to fill the shipment box.
- When shipping via UPS Ground, if possible, use a commercial address that has an entrance open to the public.
- LTL pallet shipping will save you considerable money versus UPS. If your order's total net weight is more than 500 pounds, we can arrange the LTL shipment directly to your home or business.
DO YOU USE ANY OTHER SMALL PACKAGE CARRIERS BESIDES UPS?
We exclusively use UPS Ground to ship our packaged orders due to their extensive network and quick shipping times. Other carriers do not offer the delivery reliability and speed that we desire. The longer our product takes to be delivered, the greater the chance of damage or leakage, especially in huge package processing facilities.
HOW ARE SHIPPING AND PROCESSING COSTS CALCULATED?
Shipping and processing costs are calculated from the most current UPS Ground rates based on the order's weight, number of packages, and destination. To offer the lowest shipping costs possible, we have negotiated shipping rates with UPS due to the volume of packages we ship with them. The cost also includes a small processing charge to cover overhead including lab testing, handling, shipping supplies/equipment, etc.
DO YOU OFFER LTL SHIPPING?
Yes! If your order's net weight totals 500 pounds or more, you'll be given the option to ship via an LTL carrier. Please choose "LTL" as your shipping method and call us at 833.257.6627 to arrange the shipment. The shipping cost will be added to your order upon shipment arrangement. LTL shipments are shipped on pallets and can be delivered on a truck with a lift gate. No shipping dock is necessary for delivery, but you may be responsible for getting the product inside of your home or business.
DO YOU SHIP TO CANADA?
At this time, our shipping system is not set up to ship to Canada. We are evaluating our options to add this in the future. If you are close to the US/Canada border, there are third party stores that will receive your packages for a small fee and you can bring them across the border yourself.
