DIY Coffee Goat's Milk Soap
Coffee goat milk soap combines creamy goat milk with coffee grounds for a well-balanced bar. The goat milk adds richness and nourishment that helps skin feel soft, while the coffee grounds provide a natural exfoliating texture to gently wash away buildup. Coffee is also commonly used to help reduce lingering kitchen odors like garlic or grease. The result is a mild, refreshing soap that leaves skin feeling clean, smooth, and comfortable.
1.5 lbs Goat’s Milk Soap Base
1 Tablespoon of fresh ground coffee
1 Teaspoon of Almond Oil
1 – 1.5 Teaspoons of Fragrance, optional
Get your double boiler set up.
Set your molds on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or something similar to catch any spills.
Cut your soap base into small chunks.
Melt the pieces slowly in the double boiler over low to low-medium heat, being careful not to overheat or scorch the base.
Once melted, take it off the heat and quickly stir in the coffee, almond oil, and fragrance.
Pour the soap into your molds, stopping just below the top.
Spray the surface generously with rubbing alcohol to help prevent air bubbles.
Let the bars harden for a few hours.
Once completely hardened, remove the bars or loaf and store them in airtight containers.
Enjoy!
