Whipped Body Butter

Ingredients

Shea Butter (2 cups): A rich base that adds moisture and nourishment. You can use different butters for this step, we just chose shea butter. 

Almond Oil (1 cup): Absorbs easily.

Beeswax (2 tbsp): Helps thicken the butter and give it structure.

Vitamin E Oil (2 tsp): Helps protect the oils and supports skin care.

 

What You Need

A double boiler 

Hand mixer or stand mixer

Measuring cups and spoons

Jars with lid

Plastic bag for piping

 

How to Make It

Melt everything together: Using a double boiler, gently melt the shea butter, beeswax, and almond oil, stirring until smooth.

Let it cool slightly: Take it off the heat and allow it to sit for about 15-30 minutes.

Add Vitamin E: Mix in the vitamin E oil.

Whip it up: Use a hand mixer or stand mixer until the butter becomes light and creamy.

Jar it: Add to bag and pipe the finished butter into a jar and seal.
