Simple Lip Balm Recipe

Simple Lip Balm Recipe

If you’re just getting started with lip balm or want a go-to formula that always works, this is it. It’s a simple blend of core ingredients that gives a smooth, moisturizing finish without overcomplicating things.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Start by setting up your workspace. Line a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper and place your lip balm tubes on it with the lids off. Keeping them grouped together makes pouring easier and faster.

Add the shea butter, beeswax, and coconut oil to your electric wax melter and heat until everything is fully melted. Stir occasionally with a spatula to help everything combine evenly.

Once melted, remove from heat. If you’re adding any fragrance or essential oils, mix them in at this stage and stir well.

Pour the mixture into your lip balm tubes right away. It will start to set pretty quickly, so move fast.

As the balm cools, you might notice a slight dip in the center. If that happens, just top it off with a little more of the mixture to even it out.

Let the lip balms cool completely at room temperature. Once fully hardened, add the lids.

Final Notes:

This is a solid base recipe you can adjust depending on what you like—slightly more beeswax for a firmer balm or more oil for a softer feel. You can also switch up scents or keep it simple and unscented. Check out the tutorial here
